Game News: PS4, Duty, Stick, Creed, Thief

Not a fan of the standard black or the blue/red official PS4 controllers on the way? Never fear as modification experts Evil Controllers have begun selling PS4 controllers with modified shells.

Highlights include white on black, white retro, glossy orange, and a lot of blue and red with black swirls of patterns. The controllers can be shipped worldwide, but they don’t come cheap – starting at $80 and going up to $110 even before shipping.

Call of Duty: Ghosts
Early play throughs have confirmed that both “Battlefield 4” and “Call of Duty: Ghosts” have single-player campaigns that clock in at a mere 4-4.5 hours on a regular difficulty setting, making these the shortest campaigns yet for an entry in both franchises. [Source: Cinema Blend]

South Park: The Stick of Truth
The much anticipated “South Park: The Stick of Truth” has been delayed yet again, pushed back from December 10th to a March 4th 2014 release. Should it go to plan, the game will hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on that date. To tide fans over, a new gameplay trailer is out.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
In a welcome move, Ubisoft is ditching its Uplay Passport feature saying it will not be a part of any future Ubisoft games beyond the just released “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag”.

The move comes after complaints have been raised about that game and the lack of access to the “Edward’s Fleet” companion app to anyone without a uPlay passport. Gamers currently without a Uplay Passport for Black Flag will be able to download one for free from Xbox Live or PlayStation Network. [Source: Ubisoft]
