Game News: Division, Rockstar, PSNow, Xbox

The Division
The much anticipated “Tom Clancy’s The Division” originally targeting a late 2014 release has been officially delayed to 2015. The delay isn’t a surprise though with many expecting the announcement to have happened at E3 this year. [Source: DualShockers]

PlayStation Now
Sony’s PlayStation Now service may be nearer to launch than you might expect. A closed beta is currently being carried out for the service and photos of the PlayStation 4’s digital store show that a bunch of PS3 titles briefly popped up in the “Day-One Digital” section.

Amongst the titles that it looks like the service will offer early on? – Grand Theft Auto IV & V, The Last of Us, Dead Space 3, Far Cry 3, Diablo III, L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption. [Source: PSU]

Xbox One
Microsoft’s chief marketing and strategy officer Yusuf Mehdi was recently asked by Forbes as to why he thinks the PS4 is dominating the new console race so early. Mehdi attributed the gap to the PS4 being available in more markets, but then dropped the quote that has caused both angry and amusing responses from gamers:

“People have been more satisfied with the Xbox 360 than the PS3, so in that respect people have less of a need to upgrade in the short-term due to regular updates for the Xbox 360. We could point to any number of things.”
