Game News: Destiny, Hitman, Dark, Last

Activision has posted online eight new shots from “Destiny,” the much publicised new game franchise from “Halo” creators Bungie. They’ve also announced a release date of September 9th for the game which is coming to PS3, PS4, 360 & XB1. Click here to check out the photos.

Hitman 6
Though Square Enix Montreal have given up on a next-gen “Hitman” game, the creators of the franchise IO Interactive are now back in charge of what will be the official sixth entry in the series which is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Now, some new details are out. Iconic Agent 47 is back and being handled by Diana Burnwood, while the game will make use of the Glacier 2 engine used by the most recent entry “Hitman: Absolution”. ‘Contracts Mode’ from that game is also back here, but the so-called ‘magic pockets’ are not.

Elements from the earlier games are also returning. Absolution’s multiple small-focus levels are being ditched in favor of open, vast, non-linear, checkpoint-free, sandbox levels – the largest levels ever built for a Hitman game. The locations are also much more global, expansive and exotic. [Source:]
