Game Awards 2015 News & Trailers Galore

With The Game Awards on tonight, several major game announcements and trailers took place. First up a new game in the “TRON” universe is on the way. Dubbed “TRON Run/r,” it’s available now on Steam Early Access with only one mode, ‘RUNNER’, available at present. ‘CYCLE’ mode will reportedly be ready in a few weeks, but the game itself won’t be complete and out until late in 2016.

Along with the “Batman” game announcement, Telltale Games announced that its “The Walking Dead” spinoff game series based on fan favorite character Michonne has been delayed briefly and will now premiere in February.

A surprising announcement was that a remaster of the Xbox 360 classic “Shadow Complex” is now available to download on PC and will shortly be coming to both PS4 and Xbox One.

Double Fine Productions has announced a sequel to “Psychonauts” with the project how seeking $3.3 million in crowdfunding help on Fig. Double Fine will make “Psychonauts 2” in Unreal Engine 4 with plans for a 2018 release.

Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre films and Xenomorph from the Alien franchise are reportedly joining the “Mortal Kombat X” roster along with classic drunken fist character Bo Rai Cho, and Tri-Borg which combines Cyrax, Sektor, and Robot Smoke into one character.

Finally there was new footage from “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” “Far Cry Primal,” “Quantum Break,” “Shadow Complex Remastered,” “The Walking Dead: Michonne,” “Star Citizen,” “Psychonauts 2,” “Where the Water Tastes Like Wine,” “Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn” and “Rock Band VR” along with DLC trailers for “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” “Halo 5: Guardians” and “Mortal Kombat X”.
