Gadot Wraps “Wonder Woman,” Begins “League”

Actress Gal Gadot has confirmed on Facebook today that she has officially wrapped her work on the upcoming Patty Jenkins-directed solo “Wonder Woman” film at Warner Bros. Pictures.

In her post, she says: “Today was my last day shooting the solo Wonder Woman movie! It’s been such an amazing, exciting, dreamy, happy and fascinating experience I will cherish it forever. Thank you to everyone who was involved, our amazing cast, crew and phenomenal director.”

While Gadot has finished work, additional photography is likely continuing on the production at least for some time. Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Said Taghmaoui and Connie Nielsen also star in the film which is targeting a June 2nd 2017 release.

Gadot herself meanwhile won’t have much, if any, down time as she’s said to be reporting to the set of Zack Snyder’s “Justice League: Part One” imminently. That film is already a month into production and will see her starring alongside Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller Ray Fisher, and Jason Momoa.
