The upcoming “G.I. Joe” sequel at Paramount Pictures has reportedly scored a title – “G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes” reports Digital Spy.
The Louisiana office of film and video reportedly revealed that production on the sequel will begin in New Orleans this September and run through to November.
The statement however was later retracted and a new one issued citing no official decision has been made regarding the film’s shooting location. Still, the news was out there.
Channing Tatum (Duke), Ray Park (Snake Eyes) and Lee Byung-hun (Storm Shadow) are now all confirmed to be returning. Jon Chu helms the film which has currently targeted an August 10th 2012 release.
