FX’s “Trust,” Crackle’s “Oath” Get New Promos

Following in the wake of Ridley Scott’s John Paul Getty kidnap story “All the Money in the World” in cinemas, FX has released a second trailer for its new Getty family dynasty series “Trust” from “Slumdog Millionaire” director Danny Boyle and writer Simon Beaufoy.

Each season explores a period in the life of the Getty family with the first covering the same territory as ‘Money’, but with some key changes to both the tone and story. In this take Donald Sutherland is billionaire J. Paul Getty, “Beach Rats” breakout Harris Dickinson is the grandson who seems far more complicit in this take, Hilary Swank is the grandson’s mother Gail Getty, and Brendan Fraser is Getty’s security head. “Trust” debuts on March 25th.

Also today comes another trailer for “The Oath,” Crackle’s new action-packed drama series from producer Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson and starring Sean Bean, Ryan Kwanten, Cory Hardrict, Katrina Law and Arlen Escarpeta. It will launch on the streaming service on March 8th.

The series explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join. The series takes an unforgiving look at the complicated dynamics in these organizations and documents the lives of those willing to risk it all to have it all.
