FX Sets “Snowfall” Premiere On July 5th

FX has set a July 5th premiere date for “Snowfall,” the upcoming 1983-set and John Singleton produced crack-epidemic series. The story focuses on four characters in the early days of crack cocaine and its radical impact on our culture.

This includes rising entrepreneur Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), Mexican wrestler Gustavo Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta), Nicaraguan Contras-funding CIA operative Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson), and Mexican crime lord daughter Lucia Villanueva (Emily Rios).

Dave Andron is the showrunner on the series with a special screening and panel session for it to open the sixth annual ATX Television Festival on June 8th.
