Following in the wake of the Apple TV+ service’s announcement of a $4.99/month price and a November 1st launch date, Apple has released the official trailer for its forthcoming eight-episode sci-fi drama series “See” starring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard.
The high concept series takes place in a future where humanity has lost the ability to perceive the world with sight. It will follow the story of fearless leader Baba Voss (Momoa), the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see – who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen (Sylvia Hoeks) who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed.
Yadira Guevara-Prip, Nesta Cooper, Archie Madekwe, Christian Camargo and Hera Hilmar also star. Steven Knight (“Dirty Pretty Things,” “Peaky Blinders”) penned and Francis Lawrence (“The Hunger Games”) directs the series with both to executive produce alongside Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kristen Campo.
“See” will launch with the service on November 1st.
