Friday Light Nights Gets Renewed

It may not score huge ratings, but the critically acclaimed series “Friday Night Lights” has been renewed for two more seasons by NBC and DirecTV says Newsday.

Consisting of thirteen episodes each, the fourth and fifth season will continue the partnership between the two companies over the series about a high school football team in a small Texas town.

Like before, DirecTV will get the first window on the episodes to run commercial-free as the marquee property on its 101 Network channel.
