He was linked back in February this year, now Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (“28 Weeks Later,” “Intruders”) is the latest director to have dropped out of the long-struggling remake of “The Crow” at Relativity Media reports Twitchfilm
Director Stephen Norrington was initially slated to direct from a script by Nick Cave and Mark Wahlberg rumoured to be interested in starring. Both Norrington and Cave left, replaced by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and Alex Tse respectively while Bradley Cooper actually signed on to play the title character.
Then Cooper left due to scheduling conflicts with “Paradise Lost”. Now Fresnadillo is gone as well, rumour being that he might move onto the “Highlander” reboot at Summit. In either case he’s out. A new director is currently being sought with F. Javier Gutierrez (“Before the Fall”) already said to be under consideration.
