Will Smith is reportedly developing a spin-off to his iconic 1990s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” for his freshly launched digital content studio Westbrook Media.
The original NBC sitcom launched Smith’s career as an actor, the rapper played a fictional version of himself for six seasons. In the series, the West Philly-born teenager moves to the affluent Southern California neighborhood of Bel-Air to live with his aunt and uncle at the suggestion of his mother to keep him out of trouble.
Smith and wife Jada Pinkett-Smith launched the Westbrook Media company in July to oversee their projects at Overbrook Entertainment and Red Table Talk Enterprises. No further details are available about the reboot.
