Frank Baldwin To Adapt Grisham’s “Racketeer”

Fox 2000 has set Frank Baldwin (“The Art Of Making Money”) to pen an adaptation of John Grisham’s 2012 novel “The Racketeer”.

The story begins when a federal judge and his secretary are found murdered in a remote lakeside cabin, while the cabin’s state-of-the-art safe stands open and empty.

The FBI seeks to find the killer and safe contents, but the only man who knows the truth is a former marine turned small-time attorney Malcolm Bannister whom is sitting in a Maryland prison. A man who wants revenge on the Feds for ruining his life.

Daniel Espinosa (“Safe House”) was previously linked as director but is no longer attached. Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher are producing.
