FOX’s “X-Men” Series Gets Its First Cast Member

FOX’s still untitled “X-Men” series has scored its first official cast member with Blair Redford (“Switched at Birth,” “Satisfaction”) taking on the role of Sam.

The series focuses on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers and are forced to go on the run.

Redford’s character is described as the strong-headed Native American leader of the underground network.

Matt Nix (“Burn Notice”) serves as showrunner on the project which Bryan Singer is helming the pilot of next month. A Fall or early 2018 debut is looking likely should the series go forward.
