FOX has reportedly scored the script for the animated comedy series “Therapy Dog,” winning a bidding war between multiple networks.

The company is developing the new series which is co-created by actresses Sharon Horgan (“Catastrophe”) and Clea DuVall (“American Horror Story”) and writers Jennie Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan (“Divorce”).

The animated series follows Honey, a dog who runs group therapy sessions to help her fellow neighborhood animals to manage the neuroses brought on by their owners and each other.

DuVall, Critten and Allan co-penned and all along with Horgan, Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor will executive produce. The project joins other animated series like Lord & Miller’s “Bless the Harts” and Amy Poehler’s “Duncanville” which are also in the works.
