FOX Sets “X-Files,” “9-1-1” Premieres

FOX has set the premiere dates for two of its most high-profile drama launches of the season.

The eleventh season of “The X-Files” (the second since the revival), and the first season of Ryan Murphy’s first responder drama “9-1-1” are both slated to premiere on Wednesday January 3rd at 8pm and 9pm respectively/

The ten-episode second installment of “The X-Files” revival sees David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson returning in their roles as iconic FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. 2016’s season drew an average multi-platform audience of nearly sixteen million viewers and was the season’s No. 2 broadcast drama.

“9-1-1” explores the high-pressure experiences of police officers, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. Angela Bassett, Peter Krause and Connie Britton co-star.
