FOX used its Television Critics Association winter press tour today to announce premiere dates for several shows, most notably the event series return of “Prison Break” which will be back on the network from Tuesday April 4th.
Other shows on the way are the new time travel comedy “Making History” which begins Sunday March 5th, the unscripted competition series “Kicking & Screaming” on Thursday March 9th, and the event series “Shots Fired” on Wednesday March 22nd. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” is taking a longer than usual hiatus with the remaining episodes of the current season not set to return until April 11th.
As previously announced, “24: Legacy” begins on the network from Sunday February 5th and will take over “Gotham” Monday slot for its entire limited run through to the finale on April 17th. “Gotham” will then return with the back half of its third season on April 24th.
Finally, FOX’s drama juggernaut “Empire” has been renewed for a fourth season which will kick off in the Fall. The remainder of the current third season begins March 22nd.
