Hot on the heels of the announcement of the new “Avatar” sequel release dates, 20th Century Fox has changed up its release slate for a bunch of its films opening next year.
The saddest news is that Shane Black’s “The Predator” has been delayed a whopping six months. Originally aiming to bow February 9th, it will now open August 3rd 2018.
Next up, they’ve locked in which three Marvel film projects will take already set aside slots – and revealed the title of the new “X-Men” film in the process.
Josh Boone’s “New Mutants” will come first with an opening on April 13th 2018. That’ll be followed by David Leitch’s “Deadpool 2” on June 1st 2018 and then “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” on November 2nd 2018. Not slated is “X-Force” which is currently being written.
