Fox Remakes DePalma’s Fury

Brian McGreevy and Lee Shipman have been set to write a contemporary remake of Brian De Palma’s 1978 supernatural horror “The Fury” for Fox 2000.

According to Variety, the story centers on a young man with heightened kinetic powers who is abducted by the government in order to take advantage of his special gifts.

No word if John Farris’ 1976 novel will still be used. Kirk Douglas and John Cassavetes starred in the original.
