FOX Orders “Gone Baby Gone” Series Pilot

FOX has given a pilot order for “Gone Baby Gone,” a TV series based on the Dennis Lehane novel which Miramax will produce.

The show will be a one hour drama centered around two detectives, Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro, who are armed with “their wits, their street knowledge and an undeniable chemistry” as they work in Boston’s Dorchester borough.

“Black Sails” co-creator Robert Levine will write the script and Levine and Lehane will executive produce the pilot. The novel was adapted into the 2007 film which marked Ben Affleck’s directorial debut and starred Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan in the detective roles with Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris in supporting turns.
