Fox Gives “Minority Report” A Pilot Order

Fox has officially handed out a pilot order for the proposed TV series based on Steven Spielberg’s 2002 sci-fi feature “Minority Report”.

“Godzilla” screenwriter Max Borenstein was hired back in September to write the pilot script, and Kevin Falls has signed on to serve as showrunner and executive producer alongside Steven Spielberg, Max Borenstein, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.

The series will be set ten years after the end of Precrime in D.C. in the first film. One of the Precogs now struggles to lead a normal life, but he continues to have haunting visions of the future.

He soon meets a detective haunted by her past who may help the precog find a purpose for his abilities.
