Fox Developing A “True Lies” TV Series

FOX is developing a TV series adaptation of the Arnold Schwarzenegger-led, James Cameron-directed 1994 action comedy “True Lies”.

The network has given the potential one-hour drama series a put pilot commitment. In the film, Schwarzenegger played a superspy who keeps his true occupation a secret from his wife (Jamie Lee Curtis) and daughter (Eliza Dushku).

Marc Guggenheim will write and executive produce the project while Cameron himself along with McG, Jon Landau, Rae Sanchini, and Mary Viola will all executive produce.

McG is also attached to direct the pilot. The film scored good reviews and pulled in over $378 million worldwide at the box-office.
