20th Century Fox has shaken up its release scheduled and pushed back a bunch of films by several months, all films which had been previously pushed back by a similar amount from their first announced release dates.
“Alita: Battle Angel,” which was to open in the crowded December 21st release slot, has been pushed back to a February 14th 2019 opening.
“X-Men: Dark Phoenix” was slated for that weekend and instead will now open June 7th 2019, the move coming just days after the film released its first trailer.
“Gambit” was slated for that weekend and has been delayed nine months to a March 13th 2020 opening. In addition, Fox will release a PG-13 version of “Deadpool 2” is coming to cinemas on December 21st.
