FOX has opted to cancel all four of its freshmen comedies one of it s freshman dramas from last season.
The Rob Lowe-led “The Grinder,” the John Stamos-led “Grandfathered,” the mid-season launched “Cooper Barrett’s Guide To Surviving Life” and the animated “Bordertown” have all been cancelled. All four of the laughers had been weak in the ratings with only “Grandfathered” having a slight edge.
Similarly they’ve opted to cancel the Frankenstein-inspired “Second Chance” starring Rob Kazinsky. That really only leaves FOX’s “Sleepy Hollow” up in the air – a show which, like “Castle,” has lost its female lead which means its chances of renewal are slim.
