Fox Atomic Is Set To Close Down

20th Century Fox will close down its genre horror label Fox Atomic reports Variety.

In its time the company released such films as the surprisingly decent “28 Weeks Later”; misfires like “12 Rounds,” “The Rocker” and “Turistas”; and outright crimes to cinema like “The Comebacks,” “Miss March” and the truly odious “The Hills Have Eyes II”.

President of Production Debbie Liebling will be reabsorbed into 20th Century Fox, as will many of the projects the company has in development or set for release including “I Love You Beth Cooper,” “Jennifer’s Body,” “28 Months Later” and Sacha Baron Cohen starrer “Accidentes”.
