Four More Join “Smurfs: The Lost Village”

Sony Pictures Animation has confirmed that Michelle Rodriguez, Ellie Kemper, Ariel Winter and Julia Roberts have joined the voice cast of the animated feature “Smurfs: The Lost Village”. Each will be playing new Smurf characters named SmurfStorm, SmurfBlossom, SmurfLily and SmurfWillow respectively.

In the new Kelly Asbury-directed film, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does.

Embarking on a rollercoaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history. From the looks of it, this may finally clear up the age old question – why is Smurfette the only female Smurf?

Also onboard are Demi Lovato as Smurfette, Rainn Wilson as the evil Gargamel, Joe Manganiello as Hefty, Jack McBrayer as Clumsy, Danny Pudi as Brainy, and Mandy Patinkin as Papa Smurf. “Smurfs: The Lost Village” will open in theaters on April 7th 2017.
