Following the debut of the first trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” late last year, speculation immediately began about when the next one was going to hit with the immediate suspect being Disney and Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.
A new report from Collider now indicates that the second ‘Force’ trailer is “definitely attached to every copy of Avengers: Age of Ultron that will play in theaters”. Said trailer has its world premiere at the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim which runs April 16th-19th.
The big question though is when will it go online? “Avengers: Age of Ultron” kicks off its international theatrical release on April 22nd. If the trailer is attached to those copies, Disney will want to get a jump before pirates post copies to Youtube. This would suggest the trailer launch will take place between the clip’s premiere at the convention, and the following week’s global ‘Ultron’ rollout.
A rumored trailer description from earlier this month suggested the preview will feature a brief shot of Luke Skywalker, and it looks like we won’t have much more of a wait to see if that’s correct.
