The CW network has locked down its Fall schedule with an October 6th premiere in the cards for the second seasons of “The Flash” and “iZombie” along with an October 7th premiere for the fourth season of “Arrow” and eleventh season of “Supernatural”.
That isn’t the only news from the small screen DC universe though. Phil Klemmer has reportedly been brought on as show runner on the high-profile spin-off “DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow”. Klemmer also serves as executive producer alongside Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim and Sarah Schechter.
The series follows time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter who is tasked with assembling a disparate group of heroes and villains, many of whom we’ve already met on “Arrow” and “The Flash,” to confront an unstoppable threat.
Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Ciarra Renee, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller star. It isn’t slated to premiere until mid-season.
In related news, E! Online reports that casting is underway for a woman in her 50s-early 60s for the role of Patty in the upcoming fourth season of “Arrow”. The character is described as a peer and an old friend of the late Moira Queen, and one who is mayoral candidate deeply committed to her city.
