Filmmaker Lars von Trier, the man behind the warped craziness of “Antichrist,” “Melancholia” and “Nymphomaniac,” has previously said his new film “The House That Jack Built” will be his most brutal film to date.
Now, just as the film is debuting today at Cannes, the film’s first official trailer has gone online and boasts a lot of strong violence and gore. Matt Dillon stars as the titular Jack as we watch him develop into a serial killer.
The story follows him through five important killings and provides glimpses into his troubling coming-of-age experience. Uma Thurman and Riley Keough also star in the film which hits U.S. cinemas this Fall.
