First Trailer: Tim Sutton’s “Dark Night”

The first trailer and poster are out for “Memphis” director Tim Sutton’s new film “Dark Night,” the indie feature which is loosely based around the movie theater shooting in Colorado in 2012 which took place during a screening of “The Dark Knight Rises”.

A combination of many first time performers and non actors, the story forgoes wallowing in tragedy in favor of looking at the community of Aurora and the alienation of those living there that led to the perpetrator doing what he did.

The film is currently slated to hit cinemas on February 3rd.
