He’s mostly known for his creation of numerous TV shows on the air, especially many of the major series currently on The CW such as “The Flash,” “Riverdale,” and “Arrow”.
However Greg Berlanti is also a filmmaker on occasion, helming both “The Broken Hearts Club” and “Life as We Know It”. For his third directorial feature, he’s tackling “Love, Simon,” a film adaptation of Becky Albertalli’s acclaimed recent novel “Simon vs. Homo Sapiens Agenda”.
The story follows a seventeen-year-old man (Nick Robinson) who navigates the complications of coming out and doesn’t actually know the identity of the anonymous classmate he’s fallen for online.
Katherine Langford, Alexandra Shipp, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Miles Heizer, Keiynan Lonsdale, Logan Miller, Jennifer Garner, Josh Duhamel, and Tony Hale also star in the film which opens on March 16th 2018.
