First Trailer: Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s “Creepy”

Japanese director Kiyoshi Kurosawa (“Tokyo Sonata,” “Pulse”) returns to the gritty horror/thriller genre with “Creepy” which is playing the festival circuit heavily this year ahead of a release this Fall.

Based on a novel by Yutaka Maekawa, the story follows an ex-police detective and criminal psychologist who moves to a quiet suburban town, only to begin to suspect his neighbour is a psychopath who comes into people’s households and takes over their lives.

Hidetoshi Nishijima, Yuko Takeuchi, Teruyuki Kagawa, Haruna Kawaguchi and Masahiro Higashide star in the film which opens October 21st.
