First Trailer: “Hannibal: Season 3”

We have to wait until the Summer to see the return of NBC’s “Hannibal” to screens, but today the network has offered us a treat with the first trailer for the upcoming third season. The first footage focuses on Will Graham’s hunt for Lecter, the latter now residing in Florence with Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson).

All three characters are seen in the footage, along with our first glimpse of Tao Okamoto as Lady Murusaki. No sightings of Richard Armitage as Francis Dolarhyde or Joe Anderson as the now disfigured Mason Verger as yet.

Nina Arianda (“30 Rock”) has also joined the cast in a recurring role this season. With the new season jumping forward, Arianda will play a single mother named Molly who is also Will Graham’s wife. Kim Greist and Mary Louise-Parker have played the role in previous screen adaptations of “Red Dragon”.
