The flood of trailers continues this morning as the first one arrives for “Goodbye Christopher Robin,” the “Finding Neverland”-esque upcoming biopic about “Winnie the Pooh” author A. A. Milne.
Milne’s son Christopher Robin helped inspire the classic children’s bear character along with his adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood. Domhnall Gleeson plays Milne opposite Margot Robbie as his wife Daphne and Kelly Macdonald as Christopher’s nanny Olive.
Simon Curtis (“My Week with Marilyn”) helms the tale which comes from a script by Frank Cottrell Boyce (“Millions”) and Simon Vaughan (“War and Peace”).
Fox Searchlight opens the film in the U.K. on September 29th and the U.S. on October 13th.
