First Trailer Godzilla King Of The Monsters

Almost a year out from release, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer from Michael Dougherty’s “Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” the third in a planned Monster-verse of films following the 2014 reboot and last year’s “Kong: Skull Island”.

The new story follows the efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its staff face off against a battery of god-sized monsters. Godzilla himself takes on Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah in the film who all vie for supremacy and leave humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance. Dougherty adds to expect “a few surprises” when it comes to the monsters so there may be more.

Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Sally Hawkins, Ken Watanabe, Bradley Whitford, Charles Dance, Zhang Ziyi, Aisha Hinds, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Thomas Middleditch co-star which is set to open in cinemas on May 31st 2019.

Additionally several related tweets are out showcasing noise and tie in viral graphics for the film. Those are here, here and here.
