Having effectively done zero marketing for it to date, 20th Century Fox has opted to launch the publicity campaign for Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming “Murder on the Orient Express” remake with a lavish gallery of twenty-five photos over at EW.
Branagh not only directs, but stars as the famed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot in this new take on one of Agatha Christie’s most famous works about a murder onboard the famous train of an American businessman who may have ties back to a famed child kidnap case.
Joining Branagh is a star-studded cast including Johnny Depp, Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, Derek Jacobi, Michelle Pfeiffer, Willem Dafoe, Olivia Colman, Daisy Ridley, Michael Peņa, Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Lucy Boynton and Tom Bateman.
Branagh, Ridley Scott, Simon Kinberg, Mark Gordon, Michael Schaefer, Aditya Sood and Judy Hofflund are producing from a script by Michael Green. The film opens November 10th.
