The first photo has been released from divisive Danish auteur Lars Von Trier’s new movie “The House that Jack Built”.
The filmmaker’s first efffort since his two-film “Nymphomaniac” in 2014, the drama explores twelve years in the life of a serial killer. The film is reportedly nearing completion for a premiere next year and the still was released through the movie’s Facebook page.
Starring Matt Dillon stars as the title character while Bruno Ganz, Uma Thurman, Ed Speleers, Sofie Grabol, Riley Keough and Yu Ji-tae also star.
The photo comes as Von Trier has been accused of sexual harassment during his time working with Bjork on “Dancer in the Dark” which was released in 2000. The Icelandic singer’s record label defended her account and condemned his “ongoing, disrespectful verbal and physical abuse” according to Rolling Stone.
