First Knives Out Trailer Arrives Tomorrow

The first trailer for “Looper” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” writer/director Rian Johnson’s “Knives Out” is set to premiere tomorrow with a brief teaser announcement released on Twitter below.

Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, Katherine Langford, Lakeith Stanfield, Jaeden Martell, and Christopher Plummer star in the film which is described as a modern-day murder mystery in the classic Agatha Christie whodunit style along with Johnson’s own original voice.

Specifics of the plot are under wraps, though the teaser suggests Plummer plays the patriarch of a wealthy family (and thus a likely victim). Johnson has said the Christie-based films that serve as his big influences are the “Death on the Nile,” “Evil Under the Sun,” “The Mirror Crack’d,” “Deathtrap” and comedic classics like “Clue” and “Murder by Death”.

“Knives Out” hits cinemas on November 17th.
