After some undecidedness and mixed messages, ABC has decided to go ahead after all with “Marvel’s Most Wanted,” its spin-off of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” which would put the focus on agents Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) and Nick Blood (Lance Hunter) who were introduced during the show’s second season.
Now, new details about the pilot for the series have been revealed in a new synopsis which seems to drop some minor spoilers about where its mothership show will be headed in the remaining episodes of the current third season:
“[The series] centers on Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., two ex-spies and ex-spouses who are on the run with no friends, no S.H.I.E.L.D. and a long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads.
Able to trust no one but each other, Bobbi and Hunter form an uneasy alliance with Dominic Fortune (Delroy Lindo), a rogue adventurer with a wealth of resources and even more adversaries, who agrees to protect them so long as they help him with his own agenda. These two heroes will help anyone in need, all while trying to uncover the conspiracy that put their own lives in jeopardy.”
Jeffrey Bell, Paul Zbyszewski, Jeph Loeb, and Jim Chory serve as executive producers. ABC has only ordered a pilot at this point and it isn’t clear if it’ll go to series and/or if not then how it will fit with the ongoing third season – especially considering it suggests something bad is going to happen to Bobbi and Hunter’s current compatriots.
