First “Deadpool” Trailer In Three Weeks

When it comes to trailers, there were four big ones that made all the headlines at this year’s San Diego Comic Con: “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Suicide Squad,” “Deadpool” and “X-Men: Apocalypse” – arguably in that order too.

Who ‘won’ this year has been up for debate, but there is a very vocal contingent who seemed swayed by the “Deadpool” footage as it delivers exactly what they want out of such a movie – lots of very R-rated laughs.

Of the four only “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has released its Comic Con footage online, while the rest have seen bootlegs leak and passed around like crazy. Of the three that haven’t, the one that makes the most sense to be posted is “Deadpool” as it opens in February and is the toughest sell of the three as it’s dealing with a character not really known outside the comic world.

Today, Ryan Reynolds has posted a tweet saying that the studio can’t release the Comic Con clip online officially because the visual effects aren’t done yet. However, he suggests we’ll get our first official trailer early next month.
