A new full clip from “Samurai Jack” creator Genndy Tartakovsky’s new animated series “Primal” has gone online following its screening at the San Diego Comic Con over the weekend.
The story follows a caveman at the dawn of evolution and a dinosaur on the brink of extinction. Bonded by tragedy, this unlikely friendship becomes the only hope of survival in a violent, primordial world.
Don’t expect kid-friendly action here, the action in this clip is bloody and violent, very different from the content of the Emmy-winning Tartakovsky’s work on the three “Hotel Transylvania” films and his original “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” series.
Styled like a watercolor painting, this offers a more thorough glimpse of the prehistoric world he has conjured up. The series consists of ten episodes which contain no dialogue. “Primal” will premiere on Adult Swim this Fall.
