Animation styles will vary from traditional 2D to photoreal CG with different teams around the world creating each one.

Miller previously scored an Oscar nomination for his animated short “Gopher Broke”. Miller and Fincher previously worked together on the opening credits sequence of Fincher’s 2011 adaptation of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”.

Fincher will begin production on the “World War Z” sequel in June, Miller wrapped production on the “Terminator” reboot in November and is slated to helm the “Neuromancer” adaptation at Fox.
