Filmmaker David Fincher is in early talks to direct the biopic of Apple founder Steve Jobs at Sony Pictures.
This would mark his second teaming with screenwriter Aaron Sorkin on a computer-related biopic project, the first being 2010’s “The Social Network”. No cast members are attached at this time.
Sorkin revealed in 2012 that the movie will revolve around three keynote speeches, before the Apple innovator announced the Mac, NeXT, and the first iPod.
Sorkin wrote the film based on Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography which includes more than forty interviews with Jobs conducted over two years-as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues.
