Jonathan Groff has signed on for a series regular role in David Fincher’s “Mindhunter,” his next drama series for Netflix following their previous collaboration on “House of Cards”.
Fincher and Charlize Theron are executive producing the series in which “Looking” and “Glee” star Groff is the first cast member to sign on. Fincher will direct the first episode of the series.
The story revolves around FBI agent John Douglas’ pursuit of some of the most notorious serial killers and rapists, drawing from Douglas’ various cases over the years.
No word as to when it might debut though 2017 seems likely.
