Though filming on the two-part “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” movies wrapped last year, one crucial scene was not shot – the epilogue of the upcoming second part.
The scene reportedly required green landscapes, which wasn’t available in Atlanta when filming was winding down. As a result, the team decided to wait until conditions were favorable and shoot that last scene.
Jennifer Lawrence, producer Nina Jacobson, and the actors involved in the epilogue assembled over the weekend and did the scene with Jacobson posting a photo from the set. The photo comes ahead of the first trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” which goes online tomorrow:
