Fighter Scribes To Adapt “Boston Strong”

“The Fighter” scribes Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasy have picked up the feature film rights to Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge’s non-fiction novel “Boston Strong”.

The book, due to be published next year, looks at the city’s reaction to the deadly April 15 attacks at the Boston Marathon finish line and the search for the brothers responsible.

This marks the second book by Sherman that Johnson has adapted, the first being 2009’s “Finest Hours” about a 1952 Coast Guard oil tanker rescue. Robert Schwentke remains attached to direct that project.
