“Feud” Tops “Taboo” & “Legion” Launches

“FEUD: Bette and Joan” has premiered as FX’s most-watched new program since “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” last year.

In Live+3 ratings, the premiere telecast delivered 5.17 million total viewers – beating recent series launches like “Taboo” and “Legion” by 11% & 16% respectively.

The series tells the story of the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) during their collaboration on the Oscar-nominated thriller “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” and well after the cameras stopped rolling.

Both women endured ageism, sexism, and misogyny while struggling to hang on to success and fame in the twilight of their careers.
