Ferguson To Return For “Mission: Impossible 6”

One of the breakthrough performances of the year came from one of the most unexpected places – a blockbuster action film. “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” nabbed the best reviews of the franchise thus far, and amongst all the praise it was actress Rebecca Ferguson’s turn as Isla Faust that had most people talking.

Today, Showbiz 411 reports that the contract for the actress to return for the sixth film in the series is “signed, sealed and delivered”. How Isla Faust will be a part of the action is unclear at this point as she’s technically not a member of Hunt’s team.

Both Cruise and writer/director Christopher McQuarrie are back for the next one which is aiming to begin filming in August for release Summer 2017.

Her work in ‘Rogue’ has led to the actress quickly filling up her schedule. She’s already been shooting Tate Taylor’s “The Girl On The Train,” and then could get a double dose of Michael Fassbender in the first half of the year with both “The Snowman” and possibly “Alien: Covenant”.
