More quotes just keep coming out of freshly published pieces from the “Captain America Civil War” junket that took place over the weekend, mostly from Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige offering updates on all the various Marvel Studios projects.
Today he revealed that Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow may finally get her own film in Marvel Studios’ fourth ‘phase’ which will kick off after the ‘Infinity War’ saga. Feige admits to Fandago that even it if were to happen, it’s still years off:
“I think [Black] Widow at some point would be great, but when you start talking about things that are now four/five years away…sometimes we do that. Dr. Strange has been talked about for ten years. But we’re focused on the next nine movies, which is a lot, between now and 2019.”
In the same interview, Feige says expect some new regarding the “Captain Marvel” movie which he says will be about Carol Danvers and that journey to being Captain Marvel. He then goes on to say they’ll be announcing a filmmaker in the next month or two, and probably some cast members at the end of the summer.
