Batman is out, Magneto may be in.
Michael Fassbender is being eyed to replace Christian Bale in the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic at Sony Pictures says Deadline.
Director Danny Boyle and writer Aaron Sorkin are reportedly interested in getting the actor onboard, and Fassbender will have room in his schedule to film the project this winter before starting work on “X-Men: Apocalypse”.
However, there’s no word that Fassbender is even interested in playing the Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, or if an official offer is out to him yet. Bale dropped out of the running earlier this week.
The film itself is split into three segments, each of which take place backstage before the product launches of the Mac, the NeXT and the first iPod.
